I graduated from a second level UNIV( recognized as the top 36
UNIVs in China ) in Shanghai , majored in CS , and got the academic
schorlarship every year. My GPA is 3.5. At the same time, I served as
the leader in the department of propaganda in student union and a
member in tennis team of our univ. After my graduation, I also
published an essay in a national comupter journal with my professor.

Till this year,I have 3 year working experience in software design
and programming , and worked as a project manager in my current
company.

Unfortunately ,My GRE score is not very well(1920) and I am a
victim of the last paper-based GRE test in China.On the other hand,my
toefl score will passed time if I apply for the fall semester next
year.

So I am really confused now.Whether is it worthy for me to retake
my TOEFL and apply for the fall sememster in top UNIVs such as UT,
Queen's and UBC or just apply for UNIVs which admit the student in
this winter semester such as Victoria,Mcgill... ? If I choose apply
for top UNIV..how much should I get in TOEFL so that I could be
admitted by such great school? (actually I don't wanna retake my GRE
again)
