It depends. If they can see the baby is there(heartbeat), they will do something to keep the baby.

In a lot of case, in early pregant bleeding, you only have a empty TAI(1)nang(2), it means embryo itself is not good, it not caused by your He(2)Er(2)Meng(2).Even in china, last year when I went back China for a visit, I found I was pregnant, then bleeding, went to hospital--Beijing Fu Chan, after Ultrasound, they can't see baby even I am in 7 weeks, then doctor only asked me to stayed on the bed to wait to see, after one week another ultrasound, still can't see, and bleeding a lot, then have to do clean womb. after surgery, it showed the embryo was stopped to grow up at 6 weeks.
