⚡️The Russian military began to move its aircraft from the Crimean peninsula after the bombings there, writes Business Insider, citing a secret NATO report. The report said that as of August 22, "Russia is likely to withdraw its air force from Crimea to prevent further attacks from Ukraine."Russia moved ten fighter jets from Crimea to Russian territory – SU-35S and four MiG-31BM interceptors.
However, about 32 Russian fighters are still stationed at the Belbek air base near Sevastopol – mostly SU-27s and a small number of modern SU-35S and MiG-31BMs.
