As part of its campaign to fight the McGuinty Liberal government plan through its 2004 budget to break its promises to the voters and people of Ontario by imposing large and regressive tax hikes on working families, PC Caucus members are circulating the petition to force the McGuinty Liberals to obey the law and honour the Premier’s commitment to hold a referendum on any proposed tax increases.
If you believe that the Liberals’ 2004 Ontario budget is both a grave breach of faith with the people of this province and a serious threat to Ontario’s economic growth and financial stability, please print out a copy of this petition and/or forward this e-mail to a friend. Once printed add your name and pass it around to your friends, family and colleagues.
Please mail or fax the petition back to us at the address indicated on the petition and a PC Caucus member will ensure that it is tabled in the Ontario Legislative Assembly. We would like to collect as many signatures as possible to table in the Legislature when the House resumes sitting on May 31st.
