For those of you who are not aware of the project yet:
We have decided a group of people here in Toronto to gather some used clothes and ship it to the poor people suffering from the war in the middle east. Many other cities all over Canada and USA have joined our project and started collecting in their cities. We started with a small goal of filling one big shipping container, but with the help of God, we have found an organization that is ready to sponser the shipping fees for 15 containers !
So our goal now is to gather as many used clothes as we can ( used shoes, stuffed animals and bags are also accepted). Our goal is to fill all those containers in one month. we have already ghathered a lot of clothes, but we need the help of each one of you to fill the remaining containers.
So if you are interested to help us by anything you can, please let me know. We have collecting points in different parts of Toronto. IF you are outside of Toronto and you would like to help, please let me know and we can arrange something. If you don't have any used clothes to donate, you can also help us either by telling all the people you know or by voluntering to sort with us the clothes or even if you have space in your home, you can volunteer to be a collecting point.
Maybe we can't stop wars, but at least we can help those poor innocent people with whatever we can. We want to send them the message that they are not forgotten and that their brothers and sisters in humanity in north america are not all "bad americains".
