I was so surprised that in daycare they never have problem for afternoon nap. So I asked the teacher and she told me that:
the most important thing is to make the sleeping surrounding. Put the curtains down and play some soft music! Put the sheet over their head at first couple of minutes (beginning level) and then drag the sheet to normal level (shoulder) then they will be sleeping in 5 minutes!
Imagine that in daycare 3 teachers have to take care 15 kids (all of them under 2 years old) in one room at same time and all of the kids are sleeping very well.
One day I stay with my kids while they are having nap. Around 2pm the teacher said it is time to get up, so she stopped the music and the kids just woke up one by one. Really amazing! I tried this method at home, believe or not, it works! I think the author of Harry potter must learn the trick with the 3 heads-dog from daycare centre! Haha!
