本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Over many centuries, prayer ceremonies have been performed by Tibetan monks and nuns, forming part of the foundation of their daily lives. These ceremonies originaled in the great Buddhist monasteries of Tibet and have been brought by the devoted practicioners to India, their land of refuge, where they continue this ancient tradition.
This music which is RARELY performed outside of monastery walls will be performed in our community. A wonderfuly opportunity should not be missed.

Followed by a short social break and an opportunity to meet Mingyur Rinpoche, assist Khenpo of Sheral Ling Monastery
The eventing will close with a video presentation of some of the most sacred places and artwork in the Buddhist tradition of Northern India: DodhGaya, Dharmasala, etc. In 2004, the Chants from this Monstery received the Grammy Award in the "Best Traditional World Music" category.
