ABBA - Thank You For The Music（ZT)

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛ABBA这个70年代最成功的合唱组来自瑞典。最早应回溯到1966年，当时键盘手兼歌手的Benny Anderson与吉他手兼歌手的Bjorn Ulvaeus组成一个合唱小组。他们开始为Polar Music/Union Songs作曲写歌。这家公司是个出版公司，老板是Stig Anderson，他本人是个多产的词作家，在50年代和60年代十分有名。与此同时，Anderson和Ulvaeus正与他们各自的女友为一些计划而忙碌着。Ulvaeus与歌手Agnetha Faltskog合作演唱了一首后来成为全瑞典冠军的歌曲I Was So In Love，而Anderson和Anni Frida Lyngstad 开始约会。Lyngstad是个爵士歌手，在全国都十分有名。后来，Anderson和Ulvaeus演唱了享誉国际的歌曲People Need Love，这首歌的背景声就是Faltskog和Lyngstad伴唱的。ABBA一词是Stig Anderson提出的，该词代表了4个人的姓名的第一个字母。一曲Waterloo一曲赢得欧洲电视台大赛的奖励。之后，他们演唱了S.O.S， 这支歌不仅在美国和英国等说英语的国家一炮打响，而且也在西班牙、德国等国赢得巨大成功，这是他们始料不及的。此外，他们还有Lay All Your Love On Me、The Winner Takes It All等等。这些歌有很多在80年代被引入我国，并被广为传唱。《五色谱》就是当时非常走红的磁带，里面的歌曲大部分都是ABBA乐队的歌曲，重新填上词，唱遍大江南北。然后又有Mamma Mia，Fernando和Dancing Queen。到了1976年，他们已经准备出精选集了。1977年，ABBA合唱组新作Knowing Me, Knowing You和The Name Of The Game占据了各大电台的音乐节目中。1978年，Anderson与Lyngstad结婚，而Ulvaeus和Faltskog早于1971年就结婚了，但几个月后，就又分开了。事实上，ABBA合唱组所演唱的下一专集Voulez Vous的歌曲主题中有很多都是描写爱情中的苦痛的。Super Trouper于1980年发行之后，Anderson与Lyngstad 也分道扬镳了。1982年，这个4人合唱组正式解散。
ABBA只正式推出过一部演唱会录像：1979年在温布利大球场的演唱会，但只有节选，从未发行过完整版本。
在影片《ABBA: The Movie》中也能见到许多演唱会场面。这是部有虚构情节的ABBA 1996年澳洲巡演记录片。
此外，ABBA还推出过一张Live专辑，不知道是在什么时候的演唱会上录的，但有一些相当后期的歌。
所有这些“现场”的东西，一直存在争议。因为他们在发行时对音频做了很多加工，不是真正的现场原声（歌声似乎是，但配器有加工）。
