我想将SUN StorEdge D1000连接到SUN Ultra60上,下面是SCSI Host Adapter和SCSI Cable的信息,请熟悉SUN存储方面的前辈回答一二

Description: External SCSI Cable, HD68 to VHDC, 4M

我在ebay上找来找去,SCSI host Adapter基本没有问题,但是SCSI Cable出现两种型号,530-2454-01 和530-2454-02,我问seller之间的区别,回答如下:

The 68-pin VHDCI connector on Cables 530-2454-01 is centered in the housing.
The 68-pin VHDCI connector on Cables 530-2454-02 is offset in the housing.

但我问他哪个可以连接我的SCSI Host Adapter,他却回答不出来,所以这里问一下SUN 存储方面的前辈,到底该选哪个,多谢了

另外这个part #的线长为4m,是否有可以替换的短线?

    • Sorry, the first question should be "530-2454-01 or 530-2454-02", I made a mistake. -dannyfu(Danny); 2005-10-10 (#2545973@0)
      • Both cables should be fine for D1000: they all have the same connector, the only difference is "Two centered connectors do not fit on the stacked VHDCI connector". Meantime D1000's connectors are not stacked. -fried_noodles(hungry); 2005-10-10 {148} (#2546865@0)
