This free admission opera event at Todmorden Mills will showcase three difference regional styles of Chinese opera: Beijing, Kun, and Cantonese

大意是一个孤独丑陋的音乐天才住在一个与巴黎大戏院相连的秘密的地下世界. 他经常神秘地出没在剧院里,留下一些纸条要求保护费, 不按时交就会有恐怖事件发生.. 他经常在一个固定的包廂看戏,但是从来没有人见过他,

他爱上了一个纯洁的歌唱新秀christine.在暗中不断指导她,使她了取代跋扈的老大牌, 但是christine虽然很感激phantom在音乐上对她的指引和栽培,但是爱情却另有所属. 后来christine的未婚夫设计捉拿phantom, phantom挟持christine逃进地下世界. 后来未婚夫赶到被phantom抓住, christine用以身相许换爱郎的性命. phantom伤心放弃. 让两人团聚.

最有名的phantom 是 Michael Crawford ,但是我很喜欢antonio Banderas 在纪念韦伯五十岁生日庆典上的演唱(太性感了,捧一下偶像)
最有名的Christine 是作曲家的前妻Sarah Brightman.
里面的几首歌都很经典. 我有时间回家给你贴一下.
舞台效果很棒, 开头由拍卖音乐盒引起对过去故事的回顾,吊灯升起,主旋律响起我每次看都觉得很震撼.心都在发抖.
假面舞会那一场也很好看,
后来撑船在地下河里穿行很浪漫.
