Where have all the flowers gone,当年学英语的时候听过,有一次曾经想贴这首歌,觉得歌太老,可能没有人喜欢就算了,现在可以名正言顺地贴了。。。

Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the flowers gone?
Girls have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young girls gone?
Taken husbands every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Covered with flowers every one
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?

Where have all the flowers gone?

但是那些还未长大就死去的美国男孩啊, "gone to the graveyard, everyone, when will they ever know, when will they ever know"...

    • I always cannot help bursting into tears while listening to this type of songs including "You are My Sunshine": sorrowful when life is under the threat of wars, battles and casualties.
