Disagree! Liszt said that Chopin's music, although written for piano, is one of the most 'symphonic' music ever written, which can be easily transcribed for an orchestra.

Chopin himself had been an avid admirer and learner of Bach's music all his life. One can easily observe the similarity in music ideas and harmony he borrowed from Bach. The truth is after Bach, very few composers wrote large pieces of counterpunctural works anymore, yet when it comes to the very spirite of polyphonic, Chopin was still among the best.
Among the most well-known pieces are: the third mvmt of his sonata op 35, - the funeral march, and Les Sylphides - a popular ballet arrangement from waltz, prelude and mazurka.

I doubt harpsichord can do any "modern" music (compared to the music wrriten in harpsichord era) justice.
I think Arnold Schonberg would not have agreed with that
