Depending on how you decide "cheap"

I bought Dell notebook half year ago. It's great and cheap (on promotion period). But under one condition, you can't meet any problem. Otherwise, you have big trouble. All of dell desktop or notebook don't provide restored disk. So if you buy multi-year service, it is not cheap again. If not and you have problem, you have big trouble. Additionally, Dell service is very bad. For small problems, you need spend several hours to get solved if you are in free service period. For great service, I recommend HP and emachine but I don't have their notebook and I only have their desktops. If you are in urgent need, please wait for some promotion. I have some such website http://www.dealsea.com or http://www.techbargains.com or http://www.fatwallet.com (all of them focus on USA). Hope this can give you some information
