Not really, 43% of the population(2001) call themselves Catholic and their share is falling. The proportion in taxpayers should be same.

oops, that is the stats over Canada, where Quebec catholic takes a major part. The percentage of catholic in Ontario would be even lower.

I don't think it's fair to fund religion schools for most tax payers. If you choose to be special, you need to pay the price. This is why over 60% of people are against it.
