It is the hardest thing to do for a mom, so I think it is better to get some support from your family. I did it when my son was 6 months old and my parents were against it. My husband and i had to stay by the door of the baby room to stop them to go in. But now they think it is the best thing I did. So don't give up, talk to your husband and ask for his support at least. Remember, crying is just a tool for the baby to get what they want.
2. I would suggest to do one thing at a time. Say stop the milk first and then sleep with her in her room instead of yours and the last -- sleep training. It would be too much for your daughter to adjust to too many changes all at once.
3. Personally "cold turkey" was the only method worked for me. It was much more painful for me and everyone in the family but it is shorter than any other method. My son cried for 30-45 minutes each night for 3 nights, and he started to sleep by himself since then.
4. Try to do it in weekend or holidays. Stick to the schedule you set up and be consistent. I found consistency is the most important word for child minding.
5. I have a lot of friends who did it, so you are not alone!
