Bush can't control any of these and neither can Gore or anyone else who might be the President. Given all these challenges, Bush has at least done an OK job in preventing more terrorist attacks, and keeping the economy afloat. As for Iraq, it may not turn out to be exactly as what the Bush administration expected, but it's probably a war that the Americans had to fight to control the world's dwindling energy resources in order to secure the economic future for itself and the West world. As more and more countries become richer, the demand for oil and energy resources is skyrocketing, and any nation who can control these resources get all other nations by the throat. Bush obviously can't openly tell people the real motive of the war, but most Americans understand him. That's why despite all the negative attacks, he is still elected twice by the American people.
