        • That's not what it said. It said "appears to work simply enough,including both positive and negative contacts at both ends.". It may contain other parts which are unkown at this moment.
          • That's exactly what it said. Positive contact is smaller and positioned in center while negative contact is larger and positioned at outside. They are present and positioned same at both end to allow batteries to be installed freely.
