AVI is the general type, based on encoder, you need different type of codec for audio/video, especially if it's a divx or xvid movie.check http://www.shooter.com.cn for details

Thanks. I used Media player to play it. Media player will download a software but it still can't be played.

No. don't trust that download, because after all, many codec is illegal or not owned by MS.
