No.Any electronic-mechanical shutter has its life span, regardless canon or nikon, just like a car won't running forever. It's stupid to believe someone can produce a camera running forever. BTW, Canon's shutter life is well documented. Run a search on internet you can find plenty of topic coverage. They didn't hide it. Why got so excited?
