My! Were you there last night as well?I was there from the beginning (7:30 PM) till the ending (around 10:00 PM). The girl playing oboe is her grand daughter, who just got her music degree in Rochester, NY.

I was also touched by another band which played Yiddish music and songs. The singer is the son of one of Jane Jacobs' great friends. That was not my first time to hear Yiddish, but my first time to listen to Yiddish songs: such an amazing combination of power and charm.

When one of her life-time good friends, who is 40 years younger, asked Jane what happiness was, she said "I have no idea "after a two-hour conversation and discussion. I just feel so amazed by Jane's witty profundity.
