枫下茶话 / 政治经济 / I hope Obama will win! I was not that much a fan of Obama before. But I am becoming one. Listen to his speech is just so enjoyable, can't resist his charm. It will be so interesting to see this man be the next President of US.

民主党关注国内事务的兴趣远大于国际事务。但是个人感觉，民主党未必能赢得这届选举。前面的竞选，失分太多。关键在于美国人是否认识到了布什政策的错误后果，如果没有。共和党还是会继续走扩张战略来保护美国在海外的利益。

The theme "change" is powerful. Anything can happen when the real battle begins. Obama has its weakness over certain population.As a Canadian, I just like watching his speech. He is such a master of his words. Every time I was watching, I was so amazed by his intelligence.

He does have charm, but what he said during the event was just some empty promises. Who believes the US will stand out of the middle east oil fields? He cannot earn support from those readnecks in mid-west.

Well, from my feeling, Obama represents low income Americans. For those middle class whites with $125,000 or higher income (I mean family), he is in doubt.

I think I am old enough not to trust all the words from a politician. I don't dislike McCain either. But, man, this one has such a charm. His speech, his response, his passion, his power over the crowd, it is just so amazing.

I experienced last US presidential campaign in the US. I know those midwest states are hard core Republicans, Texas, which is a crucial state with lots of oil companies and political influences, just like Ontario here is Liberal camp.They just don't buy Liberal at all.

I don't support Obama, even though he is really cool. He comes from a failed family, he hated his mom because she basically abandoned him for future opportunity and when she died, Obama didn't even farewell her. He has problem.

I found out Canadian is liberal and often endorses something which is not really true in the US. The elite American is like Chinese, pay great attention on what they believe is crucial. If the candidate comes from a problematic family.He will be truly difficult to convince most middle class Americans that he is capable of the first job. Most middle class Americans have stable family structure, conservative political view, don't want to risk of changing radically. Plus, he is a black.
I personally believe the opportunity for black to pursue presidency is still un-mature. Obama's weakness is he was nobody just four years ago.

In additional, he has been in a hatred church for almost half of his life. i doubt he is full of hatred. his wife michele don't proud of America at all before Obama win some primary state. what a shame!

Obama is just a guy who have good public speaking skill. He get this skill from his hatred paste REV. Wright. He talks about to change the washington insider, but eventually, he choose an washington insider as his running mate.
