Look at the back of your bank card, it has symbols on them. If the ATM machine around the world has the same symbol,that means you can withdraw money from the ATM.I know in Europe and US, you can withdraw money from their ATM machines with your bank card.

You can get RMB cash from your foreign account using ATMs everywhere in China. Maybe even you can also find a ATM holding US dollars somewhere.

Really? I only want to get US Dollar from the card. :) , But even in here, we can not withdraw US Dollar from the ATM by using the card.

Based on what I heard **AWHILE** ago, Shang Hai and Guang Zhou and Shen Zhen have those ATM machines that connect to Interac which allow to withdraw RMB from foeign account.Maybe now, other cities also have those!

I once saw an ABM in SquareOne Mississauga holding US $. So I believe there coulld be more otherwhere. In China,though I have no experience, I guess maybe you could get some from branches of foreign banks, either from ATM or cashiers. And foreign banks in China are expanding their services fast. Who knows what they can do tomorrow, so do Chinese banks. Keep watching. : )

One more thing, even though they have those ATM, you won't be able to get US$ from your account, because it connect to the Interac or Plus system which deal with different banks.which means everything is computerized, and the bank personnel won't be able to look at your account and give you US$. You can ONLY withdraw money from ATMs, which only give you RMB.
