你能给我一些解释吗？？？？？？

Allow me to counter with a few questions of my own, 1) How many people are we talking about here? 2, 3, or 4? 2) did you file a coupled return? did your friends? 3) If your friends came from BC, then they are notnew immigrants then, you can't compare with them that way
New immigrants' assessment shouldn't take more than 4 months. The tax season is barely over, with the added workload this year, it's very possible to take a few months to get to yours,especially if you filed through snailmail.

Thank you for your reply. We are talking about 4 people,my wife and I, and my friend and his wife . Both couples filed individual forms,my friend and his wife came from BC, What do you mean by "then they are not"?

Well, I am assuming BC means British Columbia, thus if they come from BC then they are not new immigrants, which I am assuming you are. In that case, you can't compare your assessment status with your friends.
