thank you for the info. can Microsoft Office (e.g. word, excel, access, powerpoint, etc.) run in the tablet? i don't have the experience to use the tablets. please advise.

No MS Office on tablet (Windows 8 may change this). But there are a few compatible apps, like Open Office, Pages (for Words), Numbers (for Excel). Besides, you can view Office documents online now. So there's really no need to install MS Office.
