1) A group of us (12 ppl) will drive to the rafting place at River Run up on the Ottawa river on Saturday, Aug. 17th.
2) Depart from Toronto at 11:00AM, and arrive River Run camping site at 4:00PM afternoon.
3) When we get the camping site, we will start to get fun with full access to their kayaks, canoes, volley ball, etc.
4) Camp overnight at the facility on Saturday night.
5) In the morning of Aug. 18rd, Sun. at 9:30 am, we will start out for rafting. This will last the whole day. We will be provided the breakfast and lunch by River Run.
6) Upon return, video tapes of our trip will be played.
7) 5:00PM, back to Toronto. We will visit "Bon Echo Provincial Park" on HW41 Sunday for one hour on the return way.
-- What to bring:
1) Sport Sandals, Swimsuit, Nylon shorts, Sunscreen, change of clothes (wetsuits are available to rent)
2) Tent, Foam pad, Sleeping bag, Flashlight, Insect repellant, Fishing gear
3) Towel, Personal toiletry
4) Pets are permitted if you want. Animals must be on a leash or tied at all times.
-- Cost for each person:
High venture Rafting Fee: $115 (for 6 Passenger Boat)
Service Fee: $2
Camping Fee: $20
Total Cost: (115+2+20) + 7%GST + 8%PST(for meal only) = $147.23
We do have to bring our camping equipment but sharing is possible. There are also cabins available for those who doesn't want to live in a tent. The cost for 4 people cabin is $89/night.

All rafting place requires a FULL payment upon booking within 30 days. River Run has this feature that allow each family to call in and pay by credit card separately. That will save me a lot of trouble of collecting money from each one. I will give them your names when I make the reservation for our group. Now, I am looking for a group of 12 which is fit for two 6-passenger boat.
I have already made the reservation for our rafting. Every family shall call 1-800-267-8504 and provide your names and credit card number.

Travel Hwy. 401 or No. 7 to Hwy. 41.
Go north on No. 41 to Eganville.
Continue through Eganville to the traffic lights.
Turn Right at the lights (Hwy. 60) which becomes County Rd. No. 8. This will take you into Cobden.
In Cobden, turn right on Hwy. 17.
Go approx. 1 km to Foresters Falls Rd until you reach the turn off for Foresters Falls.
Go through Foresters Falls, until you are approx. 1 km outside of Foresters Falls.
Turn left at Grant's Settlement Rd, and follow RiverRun signs to our Resort
