I believe China will win the most medals in every Olympics from now on until it becomes a democratic nation as no other country spends as much money and energy on this as China does.

Then what happened in Russia and East Germany will happen in China, as people decide it's more worthwhile to spend their money on improving their standard of living rather than the 'face' project. If China still wins the most medals after this happens, I will be more proud of it. For now, many of us would rather to see some of the money to be spent on helping the earthquake, flood victims, fixing the stock market, helping the poor, easing the inflations, reducing the pollutions, and many, many other priorities
