Very touching! My company urges all employee to support the ongoing relief efforts!

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I made a donation $ 430 to WENCHUAN on the following day after the quake through my family in the Southern China. Today, I decided to donate to China Earthquake again as a kind-hearted Chinese Canadian! The letter is listed below. I am proud of my employer!

" To all XXX (my company's name, it's a worldwide organization)US employees:

In the span of less than 2 weeks, 2 natural disasters have occurred in the Pacific, the Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar and Sichuan Earthquake in China. Like so many others around the world we at XXX are deeply concerned by the devastation.

In an effort to support the ongoing relief efforts, XXX will match 100% any employee contributions. XXX Pacific will consolidate donations from all divisions and distribute donations to the following relief organizations:

Singapore Red Cross Society - Myanmar Cyclone Appeal
Singapore Red Cross Society - China Earthquake Appeal

The final collected amount will be announced once it has been tabulated.

If you would like to make a donation to assist in the relief efforts, please complete the attached form and send it to Dawn Carnline, HR Houston no later than Friday, 30 May 2008. The donated amount will be deducted directly from your paycheck on 20 June 2008. This deduction will be taken out after taxes are calculated.

We would like to thank you in advance for your generous donations to the victims and their families. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected. "更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
