Candidates will be required to work days, evenings, and nights on weekdays and weekends.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses on Ontario
• Completion of the Medication Administration certificate
• Current BCLS
• Excellent physical assessment skills are required
• Previous experience in a Palliative/Complex Care and/or Medical/Surgical environment with evidence of well developed clinical and patient assessment skills
• Evidence of continuing education and professional development
• Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
• Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.
