我自己也说不清楚。也许是因为骨子里更认同杜甫的忧郁和阴沉。同样的原因，唐诗和宋词之间，我更欣赏宋词的颓废和淫靡，而抵触唐诗的阳刚正气。

Yes, Werther is indeed kind of the harbinger of the Romanticism. I could never understand what "romanticism" the scholars have found in Li, for his poetry lacks the two fundamental characteristics of the Romanticism: melancholy and nostalgia.

it's just my personal impression and perception of Li's poems. Jin Ye Si, in my opinion, is poetical in an unpoetically plain way, hence anything but Romanticism.

I don't believe the word "incorrect" can be "correctly" applied to our reading of poetry. after all, what is poetical in a poetical work is only a product of our subjective projection and the evasive substance in the poem itself, if there is any.
