Agree with Wonton Soup.You write a 'thank you letter' first to thank them for the chance of interview. And by the way, remind them and ask them when you can get confirm. 据我所知，REFERENCE 在COMPANY找你要时才给他，但可以在COVER LETTER 里说明“REFERENCE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST”。应该是在加拿大有正式工作的REFERENCE 最好，公司越有名，越有说服力，我就是找原先公司比我先移民过来的同事 -wander2001(wander); 2001-4-24 (#52572@0)
