羊毛出在羊身上；DB并没有额外福利，公司不可能把利润补贴DB，DB收益不会高，唯一优点就是省心，工龄长合算；否则，还不如DC。难怪公司年轻的雇员都 buy out，他们输血给年长的

公司仍然保留DB，只是2013以后，全部是DC。。。老人自己选DB or DC，工龄长的，都留在DB。。。哪怕亏损，不想move

DB - The employer manages the investment and the onus is on them to make sure that payments are made regardless of the investment performance. Essentially, the employer bears all the investment risk.

是的！雇主承担DB投资风险，他们委托金融公司管理投资账户，金融公司会算出差距（包括投资回报及员工变化），雇主需要补齐。所以说DB对雇主来说expense有不确定性，DC就没有

It does not conflict to my post. the liability is with the employer, but if the employer bankrupted, too bad. you can choose DC if you want, but DB is what it is, that's what everyone was trying to tell you.
