yes, you can apply for the credit too. Ask your family doctor to sign the form first and then mail it to CRA. you will get a certificate and then you can claim the credit. The credit is from the effective year not the approval so it is retrospective.

yes, you are right that pension is not business income. But I think the attendant care cost can be claimed as medical expenses (for non refundable credit)
