1. The router will automatically get IP address from Roger DHCP sever.
2 Set You PC to get IP address automatically: Start->Setting->Network Connection->chose and right-click the Local Area Connect->TCP/IP->Property.

Thanks, However..I check it as you said. the IP and DNS adress are set as automatically.
However my router don't work. I believe the connection is no problem. could you help me step by step.

hi Gorus, strange, help!I use route to share cable, Now I had connected them, however there is a strange thing!
All desk, or notebook computers work well in room A (the connected cable was bought from shop), The strange is the desk compures move to room B, C, they all didn't work! however the notebook work well in all room!
what is problem?!

Note the cable line connect to room B, C are made by my self. if there is problem for the line, but my notebook works well!

If your cable is not made according by the standard,If your cable is not made according by the standard, it works on 10baseTx but not on 100baseTx . Maybe your notebook's network interface is 10baseTx and your desktop is 10/100baseTx(auto sense).

There are 4 twisted pair in the cable. And there are 8 pin in RJ45. pin1&pin2 are a pair. pin3&6, pin4&5, pin7&8 are a pair as well.

If you don't want to redo your cable, you can enforce your desktop running on 10M.
