I heard from my friends which study in York University. They said it's so difficult to pass CS course during the first 2 years semester. Some students can't bear it and then give up. After 4 semester, everything will be on the track.

CS course drop and fail rate at York U is over
60% now, the tests are too hard than 2 years ago.
York CS addmit too many new students(700) now,
and they don't have the ability to hold so many
students to the second year. so they make tough exam to let the students dropping courses, earn big money. It's bad for our new immigrant to study there now.

she is a lovely girl who like to chat with friends. About the event, we knew nothing about the reason. Maybe half on study and half on family. She actually got a high mark on test two (70/100 or so) which average was 47/100.

At least my dorm is not like a kennel. A lot of Canadian students also live here.My dorm is not big but very cozy. A lot of Canadian students also live here. We just had a talent show. Although my English is very good,I am very happy in the community.
The RA/TA income of Canadian students is not much higher than us, typically.
But they can live with the life style. Why can not we?
