Urgent!!!! I have a question about the seesion time out. who can control the time? the service provider or the programmer who write the programmer?
it always appear that time is out, log on again!

thanks. mmthe company want to put all the materials in one server(the server will put in their company), and then when someone want to access themfrom internet, they can go to the server directly, how should they do? now they have applied a virtual host, they have their own webpage in the ISP. they want to change it? how to do ? thanks again!!

I guess you were saying they want to bring the host in-house.You should ask the web-hosting company change the Internet domain IP address to your own company's.
1.if you only care about the WWW server, you can only ask them to change the www server ip address to your IP is Ok , but you have to pay the domain name hosting I guess.
2. change the domain back to your company. You need to install DNS server ( NT +++ they have bounded DNS service).

default value of session timeout is 20, you can change it eithor in iis admin part or within code, such as, in global.asa file, add following statements,
session.timeout = 40
