枫下家园 / 家庭与子女 / 我打算给小孩加middle name(中文名字)，请问该怎么办？出生时没想好，所以没有加，Birth Registration上也就没有。现在能不能在申请birth certificate的同时加，还是要在以后单独办呢？那位DX有经验？多谢多谢！！！

办理“改名”手续。打电话去General Registrar Office索取表格（这个表网上没有下载的）。整个过程至少要10个月。我给儿子办了，正在等待中。

I added middle name for my son about one year ago. I remmembered I got a responsed letter after sending Birth Registration form. On that letter there was a form for you to change baby's name.So just filled in it and sent back to Registrayion Office and waited for at most 2-3 months to change.
