It is a 风俗. And not 一定要送. It just means a little bit appreciation to the teacher. But it is not supposed to work you out.

谢谢楼上两位的指点。上周孩子的DAY-CARE搞了个小PARTY，并且找了个SANTA来送给每个小孩一份礼物。 是否我应该也考虑回赠些东西呢？

我的想法是，如果我对老师满意就送，反之，无所谓，一张卡片算是礼尚往来吧。幼儿园的party礼物的钱，说实话，还是从家长那里来的。
