why? A lot of home daycares do provide meals. How does the caregiver preprare food and take care of the kid(s) at the same time?

I don't know (and that could be one of the reasons I don't recommend home daycare) . I only know a baby needs full time care.

Do you stay with your baby while babysitting is cooking? If yes, it is OK. Or it could be dangerous for your baby if babysitting cook and take care of your baby at same time.

I suggest you to go to public full time day care, unless you know the baby sitter very well. Because your baby can not speak for himself, you don't know a thing when you leave the house.
