枫下家园 / 家庭与子女 / 请教有关ＭＡＴＥＲＮＩＴＹEI的问题大家好!我想问问有关EI申请的事情. 我是12月初生的BABY.由于去年怀孕,只是断断续续工作了些时候,没有满600小时,现在当然也不算MATERNITY ＬＥＡＶＥ．如果说我从今年２月起再工作２个月的话，到４月份再往前推一年我的工作时间就满６００小时了．我想问到那时我还能申请ＭＡＴＥＲＮＩＴＹ ＥＩ 吗？还是那只能是生小孩之前申请的？

Maybe you could try applying for 'Parental Leave' in that case?? I know that parents can have the benefit when your baby is less than 12 month old.

yes, you can apply parental EI, until your baby's birthday or for 35 weeks, which is earlier..
