ok, check insidesorry, I do not know the exact meaning of nightvision. S-video is useful , It has higher resolution than normal video, I think it's the reason why you buy a DV, right? but your TV should have a S-input.memory stick as i know is for taking static pics, also useful

my sony has a function that I can record in 0 lux (means totally dark) envirment with black white video. I guess that means nightvision

nightvision指夜视功能,在摄像机前面装了一个红外灯,在全黑的环境下也可以拍得黑白的图像(近距离,远了不行).除非老兄要做点特别的用途,否则用处不大.不过好多功能都是没有的时候想有,有了又没太多用.

一般带memory stick 的摄像机可以照数码相片，不过分辨率不太高，几十万像素，在网上传够了。此功能还有点用处。
