Thank you, longhorn. I find out some info about CF cards, share with everybody.Extreme: minimum of 20MB/second sequential write and read speed (based on SanDisk internal testing)
UltraII: a minimum sustained write speed of 9 megabytes (MB) per second and a read speed of 10 MB per second.
no data for the other one. It must be the slowest.

日立的4GB MicroDrive在10D上写的速度非常慢。但是在1D II上的速度快的不得了，所以还要看相机的CF卡接口速度。SD卡比CF要快，不过贵很多。

Thx, 黑暗. So the read and write speed depends on both CF card speed and 相机的CF卡接口速度. Brand of CF card's should be no different, right?

和品牌也有关系。比如Lexar的Write Acceleration技术，Kodak，Nikon等等支持，但是佳能的机器就不在列表里面。意味着80x的卡在佳能的机器上可能达不到这个速度。

You are right. I read the link longhorn gave above carefully, there are differents. Those testing reports are very useful.Holly cow! My D60 is about 4 times slower than 350D. Fortunately, seems little bit faster than 10D and 300D.

Considering buy another battery too. Canon or 杂牌? I used a 杂牌BP511, rated capacity is 1400mAH, but feel no better than Canon's 1100mAH.

杂牌电池性价比超值。我2年前买了2个兼容的BP511，9USD一个。和2个CANON原厂的一起用在手柄上，很好用，没什么区别。

我没有仔细读 spec，但我猜想一秒钟连拍的最大张数可能主要受限于相机的 buffer。所以也许从这个意义上，CF 卡差不多过得去就行了，虽然我碰巧买的是 extreme。

我觉得还是有一定关系, 连拍一梭子出去, 快门就按不下去了,要等数据都存入卡中. 不过D60 用ULTRAII 和EXTREME速度差不多.

我的 sandisk 512M与sandisk ultraII 512，连拍jpg体会不到明显区别,拍raw时前者略微等候长一些。
