SMS is dead. Even Access programemr is makingmore than a guy knowing SMPP. High buck is in the real teleocm area, such as OAP, SS7, IN, MGCP.

nobody only know SMPP if working in Telecom. It is tiny subarea.

driver of small carrier company may be your potential customer. they use radio. Radio is only for instance message, for history, they may need SMS. Just a clue. do more investigation by yourself

几点建议.1:在你还没找到新工作之前,不要把当前的工作给辞掉.
2:可以和老板商量,新合同的签约,没有时间限制(你可以随时辞掉工作,或者老板随时可以炒掉你.或提前几天通知)
还有你说你走了后,你的公司里员工没人会玩转你写的程序,这话只能哄骗外行的老板.

多谢提醒！以前的合同就是随时可解除的。
你说的没错，老板是外行，但公司里确实没有人能玩的转我写的程序，因为就没几个人。当然不可否认外边高手很多的，比如rolia这里就有很多，我只是一个新手而已。

没想到遇见同行了.我在国内也是做短信网关的, 来加拿大之前我也想过能否在这边找到从事移动增值业务的程序员工作, 不过一直没见到有这种职位. 你不如看看多伦多的ROGERS, TELUS等电信公司的招聘广告吧,应该有些适合你的
