枫下拾英 / 摄影艺术 / Suggestion wanted: what memory card do you guys suggest for digital camera? CF or SD or Ultra card? Just for regular usage and little more storage preferred. Any suggestion appreciated.

i prefer the combination of SD card + regular AA batteries for DC, it's compact and practical

I don't care about the compactness of the memory card, just want to get a good balance of capacity/speed vs. price(say, less than $90).
Any further suggestion?

SD速度应该是最快，CF容量 vs 价格不错。Ultra只是SanDisk对卡的一种标识，SD和CF都有Ultra型号的。如果银子够Ultra II CF是不错的选择。

都是Ultra II的？CF适用性广泛些，但是SD在小型数码相机里面更流行。这你需要根据自己的相机和适用范围选择了。

BTW, I use the memory card only in Digital Camera.
(Got a Panasonic Lumix DMC_FZ5K, really amazing. The next machine should be CAnon350D, I imagine)As I know, you are in Vancouver, it's the best season to go hiking and photoing now. I love the west coast, Ontario is really boring.

俺用的ATP 1GB 60X的SD，光线好的时候速度蛮快的，另外好像两个512M的换着用好些，一张卡装满，倒出来挺费劲的；顺便问一下小黑，SD卡是不是大方向呀？
