什末都Support, 公司不大，客户更小(有个别大一点的)，从PC(90%)到Server，从系统到硬件，从UPS到Router，就是样样都会，样样读不怎末样！....我成天抱怨没有工程可做，老板到好，说怎末没有，升级个Server外带10几台PC，这不就是么！可怜我的大好时光，感觉来这以后，技术都荒废了... 而且成天在路上跑来跑去，烦透了，不过驾驶技术和认路能力倒是提高了不少... -sparktime(闪不起来); 2005-7-20 {203} (#2409331@0)

i think it would be hard for you to be a dba if you dont have strong oracle development experience, why dont you consider unix/windows administator? -tarzan_m(泰山®); 2005-7-23 (#2414455@0)
一般来说，oracle dba最好有OCP证书，Unix admin/shell script经验。backup/restore 要求有些storage知识，比如IBM ESS800， tape library. etc.
pl/sql 的touble-shooting经验，因为多用户可能产生死锁等问题。
performance tunning要从pl/sql 的query plan 找起，一直到OS memory和RAID技术。
security可能扩展到Private Virtual Database, row level security 等。
high availability 可能要讨论RAC, data guard...
