Stepping out of the Kensington, you will know how expansive and how colorful the downtown Toronto life can be. :)China Town is important, but the most important thing is to enjoy other ethnical cultures as Toronto is the best place to do so, isn't it? :) Enjoy life with a car or without it, only if you have a heart for it.

In my point of view, downtown Toronto is the best cultural spot in the Greater Toronto Area in quality, quantitiy and artistry relating to humanity, so that I really love this area and have never felt bored there.I love natural beauty as well, but first and foremost I love human beauty and downtown Toronto is the best fulfillment of this aspect.

Just name a few, every Thursay, in the harbourfront music garden, there is a classic music concert involving many famous musicians in their own specialities.Every weekend afternoon and evening, in the harbourfront centre, there are many concerts, dance performances and artistic workshops ,where last week features the Caribbean culture and this week features the South Asian civilization.

Also if you are living close to the North York Centre, there is a concert around 1 PM every Sunday, where you can enjoy jazz, swing, rock and roll and others performed by famous big bands and music groups.

The newspaper said there was a suggestion to change a small street close to the Music Gargen to "Ma Ma Yo Lane" as the Music Gargen was inspired by Ma Ma Yo.

Among all those events that I have mentioned here earlier, I rarely found Eastern Asian faces, especially Chinese faces. Most East Asian faces appeared some Japanese or Korean students overseas as I found out by listening to their conversations. I guess most Chinese are gone for camping. :) What a pity that in a great city with cultures of more than 150 different national origins, you spend most of your holiday time in camping, instead of taking advantage of the chance to enjoy other things besides camping.

Hi Traveller, thanks for offering such an informative message...Can you tell us any coming events in downtown area and join us for these events? You are definitely right....Actually I am very into this cultural diversity in Toronto but never got a chance to look at it, partly due to my exhausting work...Hopefully we people living around can hang out together some day for these huge funs...
