go to some private CP stores, I bet you can buy cheaper. One of my friends just brought 14m by $14. it's not Vancouver but Toronto. I suppose they should be same.

when i was in china, RMB180, i can get 400m cat5 or cat5+ cable. but here, 40cnd, 40meters. same quality.

$40/40METRE is not too expensive here, it costs you more in such kind of store as futureshop, where with $40, you can just buy 40 FEET.

总的来说是批发，零售也做，但肯定比批发贵一些。我没试过在网上买，你可能得亲自去他们的店里去买。

太古有，0.2/feet，rj45头05/个，它隔壁那档说没有散装卖你如果买了，建议你当场借档主的工具做线（我当时没问，因为我有工具）
1）做成两根（交叉和不交叉），因为网线有8芯，实际用4芯所以可以1变2
2）或者买个模块（用来接网线头的），后面把它变成不交叉
这样以后就可以不用担心当服务器的机器坏了，其它就不能用

写完才发现你在温哥华，不好意思。补充一下，用客户服务器方式上网的客户那台不能用语音及视频聊天服务，网上看电影可能也有问题，rm不怕
