光北美就有上百个歌剧院, 那排得过来啊. 只知道世界上有四个歌剧院很牛: 米兰斯卡拉, 纽约大都会, 伦敦皇家歌剧院, 维也纳国家歌剧院. 不过下月COC上演Norma的女主角June Anderson可是一流的, 千万不要错过!

She is 53. Don't you think she is off her peak too far? Norma is too demanding for her age.

Even though i have not heard her singing for awhile, I think 53 is not too old for an opera singer. She is actually taking some very demanding roles recently. Her Norma in 2001 was very good.

Good to know! cuz I've already bought the tickets and prepare to get disappointed. I want to see this opera so desperately that I don't care who sings it. Hope her voice is not declining too much.
