because the bottle neck is on that site... ask the chinese website to upgrade their server, get an E10k or something.

以前用Cable是很快的，可是最近变的非常慢，甚至进不去，不知道是不是Shaw有问题?

最可气的是shaw的服务!我问他们为什么Cable连国内比128K ISDN还慢,他们的回答是不知道!没办法!准备改用ADSL:)

It's hard to say whether adsl will be any better. It all depends on the routes.

Hmm ... hop 5, 6, 7 doesn't necessarily mean bottleneck, they just don't send the reply back ... also your first hop is kinda take too long (minimum 30ms?) and vary a lot (30ms ~ 861ms?!), I don't understand ...

I'm using shaw cable. It all depends on the routes. I think using a proxy server is the only way to make it faster. See (#260463).

我不知道多伦多shaw@home的情况，在Hamilton，感觉COGECO要和@home分家。为什么？以前@Home.com的电邮在转成cogeco.ca，免费空间也在转换。Cogeco的线路也在更换，怕是因为经济不好自找出路了

今天早上CABLE的DHCP断了，打电话去，ROGERS说22号要和美国公司发生什么事情，所以整个SCARBOROUGH全断了。具体由于不关心，没细问，是不是你说的事？
