If I were you, I would just move and settle down there forever. :) Any difference between Europeans and North Americans in terms of something other than cultural taste such as personality...?

of course, there are many. I find young Austrian women are generally very nice, but some middle aged Austrian women are very mean, what did Austrian men do to them? :)))

Is it a great place to live in terms of living standard and career opportunities other than music? Musicians have a better life there? I notice that lots of Canadian musicians are starving artists. Sigh.

depends on what you do. as a musician, Europe is definitely better, but art profession is the same anywhere, chance of sucess is very small, one needs talent AND luck.

That might have something to do with their genes.One of my Italian friends told me that Italians are slim eating pizza every day in Italy, while fat in North America, specifically USA. :)

我补充一点，我们乐迷几次聚会，都有人放风说有艺术家赏光，可以每次都让人失望了。。所以老迷有点怨气是可以理解的。
