我也是根据英文的资料顺便发挥一把,其实我连它叫合唱幻想曲都不知道;:-))Fantasia for piano, chorus and orchestra. (Op.80)
On 22 December 1808 Beethoven wa given a benefit concert in Vienna. He filled the programme with his latest works, choral, orchestral and pianistic , and decided to end with a new omnium gatherum, a solo piano improvisatin and set of variations for piano andorchestra, exended with benefit of vacal soloists and chorus to words specially written as a sort of "Ode to Music"..........

For me , I almost don't care about the lyrics which sometimes sound impairing the spirit of music. This may had been why Brahms never adopted any verbal inscription in and/or about his Symphonies.

这个在《贝9》前9年所作，在我看来， 贝在作《贝9》写第4乐章时，敏思苦想，想作出一个辉煌篇章，突然灵光一闪， 想起这首，就抄去了。。。

I like this piece as badly as I like his Sym-9, though! Kind of admitting it's a little bit light but even more charming than Mov-4 of Sym-9. :)
